The guitar has a single humbucker handwound by the French company SP

This very special guitar is a Wild Custom Firewild guitar, spec'd out by Kurt Ballou of Converge and God City Recording - known for his unique taste in instruments as well as use of Wild Customs guitars! The guitar is built with a sapele body and set-neck construction, with a 1-3/4" nut width to the wenge fretboard which is inlaid with mother of pearl block inlays and ivoroid binding! The guitar has a single humbucker handwound by the French company SP Custom, with a Graphtech Resomax bridge and vibrola tailpiece to add some vibrato effects to your riffs. This is a sister guitar to a second Wild Custom built for Kurt, as described and played in the video where Kurt recently visited The Music Zoo! A very special guitar that is one of a kind. It includes a certificate of authenticity and a Mono bass gigbag, which accommodates the 25.5" scale length and larger body style than usual electric guitars.
